Snapchat's reason for existence is disappearing messages, but a new feature lets you pick one snap you want to see again, just one more time, before it's gone forever.
A quiet update to Snapchat's iOS app over the weekend introduced Replay for second viewings of really great snaps. Again, the limitation—one snap per user per day—keeps the ephemerality Snapchat is known for, but recognizes that people want to see content they like more than once.
The update also included smart filters, which add metadata to your snaps. The Weather Channel provides the temperature, which is overlaid on your photo, and another filter adds the speed at which you're traveling. Three photo filters are now available: black and white, sepia, and a vintage look. Before the update, you could only add three best friends, or the people you snap with the most. Now you can add seven.
