Everyone is getting in the tablet game, even carriers now. Today, Verizon officially unveiled its own excusive 7-inch tablet, the $250 Ellipsis 7.

The bezel-heavy tablet will be available exculsively in Verizon stores as of November 7.

While the official release was stingy with the specs, a Verizon rep said over email the Ellipsis 7 will check in at 7.72 by 4.94 by 0.4-inches, weigh in at 12.07 ounces, and boast a HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 by 800 HD pixels. It will run Android 4.2.2, which Engadget reports will be "a near-stock version" of the OS, according to unnamed sources.

Additionally, the Ellipsis 7 will have a 3.2-megapixel rear camera, 8GB internal storage with SD card slot, 1GB of RAM, and a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. The device will also act as mobile hotspot that can support up to eight WiFi devices. In addition, it will have 4G LTE connectivity.
