The VW CrossBlue Coupe concept tailors its displays to your driving style Nov 18th 2013, 20:08, by John Brandon The VW CrossBlue Coupe Concept is leaving the hard-built, what-you-see-is-what-you-get dashboard in the dust. In the car of the future, what you see will be what you want. In the case of the CrossBlue Coupe, it can change its displays based on your chosen driving mode. The concept car, which will be on display this week at the 2013 LA Auto Show, joins a growing number of cars (like the Cadillac CUE system) that can customize its displays. In the CrossBlue concept's Sport mode, for example, the navigation system removes building indicators from its display. This helps you focus on the road and other hard-driving priorities, such as making turns and picking the correct off-ramp. You're probably driving too fast to see the buildings anyway. In Eco drive mode, the buildings will rise up Inception-style in the nav. At the more leisurely pace of this mode, you'll have time to look out your window and spot your next meeting locale.
