Motorola, HTC, and Google announce a bowlful of new KitKat upgrades Nov 20th 2013, 17:00, by Evan Dashevsky So, we weren't lying yesterday when we pointed out that the Moto X (on Verizon) would get Kitkat before the stockilicious Nexus 4. We just weren't aware of how close to the wire we would be. According to Android Central, Nexus 4 users have begun receiving OTA updates last night that wil bounce them up from Android 4.3 to Android 4.4. In addition, Android Police is reporting that the KitKat upgrades will be available for a number of pre-Google Motorola releases, including The Droid Razr Maxx HD, Razr M, Razr HD, and even also-rans like the Atrix HD and the Electrify M, though exact dates have yet to be announced.
