In an effort to ramp up excitement, several major carriers have officially announced launch dates or opened up preorders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch. All four of the major carriers have mentioned that they'll carry Samsung's new gadgets, and carrier underdog U.S. Cellular is even joining in on the launch.
If you're an AT&T subscriber, you can preorder the Galaxy Note 3 in black or white for $299.99 with a two-year contract, set to ship on October 1. You can also pay for it in monthly increments of $35 with AT&T Next. The company doesn't have a page set up for the Gear smartwatch just yet, though it is mentioned that it will be sold separately on the official Galaxy Note 3 page.
Big Red has also opened up preorders for the Galaxy Note 3 for $299.99 with a two-year contract, or $26.16 per month on Verizon Edge. Verizon is also offering a bundle with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch for $599.98. The company notes that the devices will ship by October 10.
T-Mobile announced Thursday that the Note 3 will be available October 2 for $199.99 down and monthly payments of $21 for 24 months, while the Galaxy Gear will go for $299.99. The carrier hasn't opened up preorders just yet, but you can sign up for news announcements at T-Mobile's site.
