Fanatic, a new free app for iOS and Android, wants to help you find that bar, that magical place where everyone loves the same team as you—or just make plans to watch the big game at home with your friends.
You create an account, designate your favorite teams, and the app suggests nearby bars that cheer on those teams. It doesn't matter if you went to the University of Wisconsin (go, Badgers!) or Youngstown State (yay, Penguins?). The app has a full roster of college and pro football, college and pro basketball, baseball, hockey, and soccer teams to choose from. It'll keep you posted on your teams' games, help you find out where to watch them, and even loop in your friends so everyone's on the same page. (Face paint optional.)
