If HTC continues to undersell devices the way it has been all year, your phone may end up being a collector's item. But until that actually happens, you can revel in the fact that Google's got your back—at least with extra storage.

The search giant is offering up to 50GB of free additional storage on Google Drive for two years on HTC devices loaded with Sense 5 and up. The free storage is only available to a limited number of HTC models, including the HTC One and HTC One Max, with the former being eligible for 25GB of storage, and the latter receiving double that. Developer Editions of the HTC One are ineligible because of their unlocked bootloaders.

To take advantage of the offer, you'll have to launch the Google Drive app on your device and then hit the redeem button. The offer is valid until January 1, 2016.

Moto X users have been eligible since August for an extra 50GB of storage for up to two years, as well as several Kensington mobile accessories like the KeyFolio Pro Plus.
