Tech manufacturers, product designers and industry experts gathered in New York this week for the Wearable Tech Expo where health and fitness took center stage. As you'll see in this video report, the ability to get feedback about your body and the growing demand from consumers for technology that helps them monitor their well-being is driving wearable tech.

LumoBack uses a belt to transmit posture information to iOS devices to let users know if they're standing, sitting, or sleeping in a good posture.

Among the technology feature in this report is a smart posture and movement system from LumoBack. The system includes a belt that transmits posture information to iOS devices to give feedback to users about whether they are standing, sitting or sleeping in a healthy posture. (The company was also on hand at Macworld/iWorld earlier this year.)

Sync Burn records a variety of fitness data and syncs to a smartphone.
