If you know an astronomer or science buff who deserves a memorable gift, why not be part of Sergio Albiac's Hubble digital art experiment?
Sergio is the artist behind Stardust, an art project in which images from the Hubble Space Telescope make up your portrait. At a glance, you actually just see some modern galaxy print patterns, but look a bit closer, you can see how the circles make up a person's face.
The project is part of what Sergio calls "an experiment in generative portraiture," and you can get a Stardust portrait of your own. Send Sergio a photo of your face, and he'll make you a portrait—and give you three free prints to boot. Check out his website to get in touch with him.
